Cannabigerolic Acid converts into CBDA (Cannabidiolic Acid), the precursor to CBD & THCA (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid, itself the precursor to THC). CBG is non-psychoactive & more potent than CBD. Recent research shows it may have therapeutic benefits on the body’s Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

CB2

The CB2 is the receptor that is found in the peripheral nervous system of the body this is different from CB1 as it is outside the brain and spinal cord. The receptor is part of the endocannabinoid system.

CBC

This term is short for a less known term, cannabichromene which is a form of cannabinoid that is found in the cannabis plant, however, like hemp won’t make you high.

CBD Extract

This popular extract is from the hemp plant and can be used for a wide range of health and wellbeing products. The CBD oil or extract is extracted from the hemp plant and processed to create the active ingredient found in CBD oil.

CBD Isolate

The CBD isolate is a powder that is created from the single CBD molecule that is in the product. In its powder form, the isolate is crystal-like and is used in the CBD products. The process also removes other cannabinoids, terpenoid, and plant materials to create an extract that is an active ingredient in a range of CBD products.

CBD Oil

The CBD extract is used in a wide range of products for consumers seeking relief for a wide range of health concerns. The benefits of using CBD are extensive and extracts range in strength based on individual requirements.

CBD-A

The CBD-A is the raw form of CBD that is found in the plant. The acidic form is natural and has not been produced in any way outside its natural form.

CBN

CBN is a short term for cannabinoid which is found in cannabis this is produced to create a wide variety of products and will not induce a feeling of being ‘high’ for the consumer.

Chlorophyll

Chlorophyll is a green molecule that is found in plants and works to enhance a plant’s photosynthesis. There are groups of Chlorophyll.

Concentrate

A concentrate made using cannabis extract is often used as a topical treatment to dab on the skin to help with pain, ache or discomfort.

Dabbing

The process of dabbing is when concentrated cannabis is used against a hot surface to extract and inhale the vapors that are produced. This process is often suitable for those suffering from chronic pain.

Decarboxylation

The decarboxylation process works to remove the carboxyl from the chemical and convert the raw CBD-A ingredients to the extracted plant extract. The cannabinoids are heated and activated to enhance the receptors in the body.

Endocannabinoid

The endocannabinoid is the natural cannabinoids in the body – these are naturally occurring and work to keep the body in balance.

Endocannabinoid System

The endocannabinoid system works with the body’s biological systems to keep our core temperature at optimum levels and in balance. The system works to engage a range of the body’s systems including emotions, memory, pain, and appetite.

Entourage Effect

An entourage effect is the benefits and effects provided by consuming cannabinoids and terpenoids. The process encourages the consumer to use the whole plant for a full spectrum of uses as a form of natural therapy.

Extract

An extract, when discussed in hemp terms, is an oil or substance that can be a wax, oil, acid, or a base to a variety of hemp products including beauty and cooking.

Extraction

The extraction process for hemp is carried out to gather the beneficial oils from the cannabis plant that are used for medicinal purposes and in products.

Isolate

The isolate is the pure CBD oil that is extracted at 99% from the hemp plant. This means everything else is removed from the plant and only the CBD remains basically for the purest form of CBD.

Liposomes

Liposomes are a natural sac that contains the hemp oil used in a variety of products. The small sacs work to improve the effectiveness of the hemp oil.
